PDALok

PDALok uses Dynamic Signature Recognition to
guarantee only the rightful owner is able to
grant access to their Pocket PC.
Dynamic Signature Recognition is a biometric
technology. Biometrics are techniques that
automatically measure an individual’s
behavioural or physical characteristics. Other
biometric technology in the BIO4 range includes
fingerprint recognition, facial recognition and
iris scanning.
PDALok software captures a signature by using
dynamic signature capture and the following
unique biometric characteristics:
· Personal rhythm
· Speed
· Pressure flow
· Acceleration
Each of these biometric traits is completely
unique to the individual and cannot be
duplicated or copied by anyone else!
PDALok is compatible with almost every Pocket
PC or Personal Digital Assistant currently available
on the market. These include any product running
the following operating systems:
· Windows CE Pocket PC Operating System
· Palm OS
Features on PDALok allow you to perform the
following functions at the touch of a button:
· Use your signature to secure your Pocket PC
· Reset and enrol signatures
· Test Signature
· Set PIN or Signature for ActiveSync
· Enable/Disable login Protection
· Choose Login Type (Signature or Password)
· Option for Restricted Access (requires hard
reset of PDA)
